Their Story
Laxmi Prasad Devkota, reverently called "Mahakavi" (Great Poet), is the most celebrated literary figure in Nepali history. His epic poem "Muna Madan" is considered the greatest work in Nepali literature. Despite living only 49 years, his prolific output in poetry, essays, and drama established the foundations of modern Nepali literature.
