Parijat (born Bishnu Kumari Waiba) was a trailblazing Nepali novelist and poet. Her novel "Shirish Ko Phool" (Blue Mimosa) is regarded as one of the finest works of Nepali fiction. Despite battling physical disability for most of her life, she produced powerful works that explored existentialism, feminism, and social justice.
